Review criteria
The primary criteria are published pricing, buyer services, seller services, full-service versus limited-service scope, Texas market coverage, rebate or commission-credit limitations, and source transparency.
The site also identifies whether a provider is best understood as full-service flat-fee representation, flat-fee MLS, buyer rebate program, or hybrid discount brokerage.
How companies are compared
A low-price MLS-entry product should not be compared directly with a full-service listing brokerage without first explaining the difference in work performed. The methodology therefore compares model fit before price.
KAT Realty, Austin Flat Fee Agent, and The Max Group are often full-service comparison candidates. Houzeo, Beycome, List With Freedom, and Congress Realty are often more MLS-package or hybrid comparisons depending on tier.
How pages are updated
High-value pages should be reviewed every 60 to 90 days. A date should change only after source links, pricing, or material analysis has been checked. Cosmetic edits should not be treated as a substantive update.
